Giving during COVID-19
We are so thankful that gathering at the church has resumed. We can now worship in person, also reach out with phone calls, emails and even video chat. Fellowship remains and always will be an important part of the St. John community. We, at this time, of all times, are also called to pray.
As we begin to meet in person once again, we thank God for His faithfulness through these trying times. We are on the road to establishing the body of Christ in our church, and in doing so, our expenses continue. We want to continue to support our staff as best we can, as well as ensure the necessary utilities are maintained to protect the integrity of the church.
To add to this challenging time, we are also missing out on rental revenue, as our partners in ministry and community outreach are under the same restrictions as we find ourselves. It is also a reality that some of us will be affected financially by the slowdown and changes in the economy, and this may be for some time to come. We are fortunate to have some reserves at hand, but these will quickly diminish without your support.
